Pillars of a City

This is a print of mine I have been working on recently, its made for a photograph I had taken on my SLR on 35mm, the photograph hasn't been edited, the way I got the two images to over lap is from shooting the whole role of film then wind it back to the start then re-shooting the hole film again.

Summer

I was looking for some source material though my photographs from last year came across this photograph, just reminds me of lazy sunny days and sunglasses.

I am doing a project just using one image as the main theme and cutting out segments to show different images behind. below are some concepts I have been playing around with.

           

 

Ice

I just finished this new print Ice, its an edition of 25 and will be on sale on print clubs website.

I have a real obsession with geometric shapes at the moment, loving my gridded sketch books, when print this piece I was rather unsure what colour to print the inside of the triangle at first thinking black, but thought that would just be too flat so I am glad I went with purple.

The photograph is of ice I had been meaning to use the photograph for a while.
